Central Florida Zoo Reviews

We visited the Central Florida Zoo and had a smooth time finding our way around. Parking was simple, the entrance was easy to spot, and most of the paths had clear signs pointing us toward the different animal areas.
The only reason I’d say it’s more of a 4-star experience is that a couple of turns were a little confusing, and we had to pause for a minute to figure out where to go. Still, we managed just fine without needing much help, and overall it was a really nice visit.

I really enjoyed the keeper talks, the shows were great too and made the whole visit even better

We visited Central Florida Zoo last weekend, and overall I felt comfortable walking around. There were staff members here and there, and the paths seemed easy enough to navigate. That said, I did notice a few railings and signs that looked worn down, and in some areas it wasn’t totally obvious where kids were supposed to stay back, which made me a little uneasy.

The security presence wasn’t bad, just lighter than I expected. I saw people checking tickets when we came in, but after that I didn’t notice much. The parking lot felt fine during the day, though I’m not sure how I’d feel there after dark. Personally, I’d still say it was a decent and safe enough visit, but I’d feel better if they had more visible staff and clearer safety signs around the zoo.

I took my kids to the Central Florida Zoo, i wasn’t expecting there to be as many animals as there were. We saw big cats, monkeys, reptiles, birds, giraffes, and a bunch of smaller animals too, which made it feel like there was always something new around the corner.

It’s not the biggest zoo I’ve ever been to, but for me that actually made it easier to enjoy with the kids. The variety was really good for a half-day trip, nobody got bored, and I’d definitely go back.

I found some useful animal facts and info for class trips on the zoo site, so it’s not bad by any means. But when I was helping with a kids’ project, I kept wishing there was more detail. It kind of feels like they keep the online info basic on purpose, maybe so people have to visit or contact them for more. Still helpful, just not as complete as I expected.

We visited the zoo and I was actually excited to stop by the gift shop before heading out.
The selection ended up being really limited, though. A lot of it felt like the same few toys, shirts, and random souvenirs repeated over and over. I also expected way more animal-specific stuff, especially at a zoo... and the prices felt a bit high for what they were.

The staff was perfectly fine, no complaints there! But the shop itself just didn’t have much that made me want to buy anything. I was hoping for better...

It was way too hot outside, and there was hardly any shade to get a break from the sun. I even checked my email receipt afterward because I was hoping I hadn’t paid much for the visit. Definitely not the most comfortable experience

Took the kids for a short day out and they really liked seeing the animals. Paths were a bit confusing at times, and definitely needed more shade in some spots. Still had an okay time overall, just felt a little tiring by the end.

I had such a great time on the zip line! It was a really fun experience, and the staff were super nice and made everything feel easy and enjoyable.

I had a smooth time using the zoo site. I was mostly able to find what I needed without thinking too much, which is usually my main test for a site like this. The only thing I noticed was that a few pages felt a little packed on my phone, so it took a bit more scrolling and focus than I’d like.

I went with my kids and the staff made the whole visit so much smoother. Every person we stopped to ask for help was patient, kind, and didn’t make us feel rushed at all. One staff member even took the time to explain where things were and made sure the kids understood too, which I really appreciated. It felt relaxed from start to finish, and we’d definitely go back

We went to the Central Florida Zoo over the weekend, and I was surprised by how relaxed it felt. It wasn’t packed, we didn’t have to wait around much, and we could actually see the animals without squeezing past a bunch of people. It just made the whole visit really easy and enjoyable

I grabbed some snacks and drinks and ended up paying less than I thought I would. Because the prices were fair, it felt like a good deal overall.

I went with my family and, we were a little disappointed. A lot of the animals were either hiding, not out in their areas, or so far back that it was hard to see them well. I totally get that they need shade and space, but it kind of felt like we spent most of the time walking around looking at "empty" exhibits. The place itself was okay, just not a lot to actually see that day.

Went to the zoo the restrooms were kind of a relief. I don’t know, I just had a feeling they’d be rough, but they were clean and had what we needed. Not spotless or anything, and they could definitely be checked a little more often, but overall I felt good about it...

I took my two kids to the Central Florida Zoo and they had the best time. The splash area was probably their favorite part, although they were running around so much that the playground was a close second, and then we’d see an animal and they’d get excited all over again.
It was really easy to get around too, not overwhelming like some of the bigger places can be. I checked the website before we went, which helped because there were a few kid-friendly things I wanted to make sure we didn’t miss. Just a really nice, low-stress family day

We went to the Central Florida Zoo parking was way easier than I expected. The lot was super close to the entrance, so we didn’t have to wander around or circle forever looking for a spot. It got a little busy when we were heading out, but it wasn’t a big deal. Definitely nice not having to trek a long way with kids in tow. Solid parking setup overall

I thought the gardens were nice and pleasant to walk around, but personally, they felt a little smaller than I expected. It was an okay visit overall, though.

I went with my kids, and the habitats seemed clean and fairly roomy. The animals looked calm and like they were being well cared for, at least from what we could tell. I also liked that there was nice shade and greenery around, so it didn’t feel like just a bunch of bare cages. Overall, we really enjoyed it...

The drinks were fine, no complaints there, but the food wasn't nothing to get excited about. It felt kinda average for what they were charging.
